Winner of the 1998 BBC NEW COMEDY AWARD, runner-up in the 1998 DAILY TELEGRAPH OPEN MIC AWARD and 1998 JONGLEURS NEW ACT COMPETITION and finalist in SO YOU THINK YOU'RE FUNNY 1998, bashful newcomer Dan Antopolski has raked up over 200 circuit appearances including resident compering in his own West End club, KOOL EDDY'S.
At the 1998 Edinburgh Festival Dan starred in KOOL EDDY's SECRET CABARET and appeared alongside Julian Barratt and Noel Fielding in the PERRIER BEST NEWCOMER AWARD winning show THE MIGHTY BOOSH. He also played the lead role in PLANET EX THE SITCOM and performed in PSYCHO VERTIGO DISCO with Hitchcock's Half Hour.
In addition to THE BBC NEW COMEDY AWARDS (BBC1) and THE 1998 DAILY TELEGRAPH OPEN MIC AWARD FINAL (C5), Dan's television credits include THE STAND-UP SHOW (BBC1) and COMEDY NATION (BBC2).
Dan has recently returned from The Edinburgh Festival where he starred in THE COMEDY ZONE and LEE MACK'S BITS.
